In general, I guess you could say I am a mixed bag of activity. I am a mixed-media artist, consultant, business owner, and am very involved in community initiatives and have a strong interest in anything about simple and green living and even have a website called www.SimpleandGreen.org . Funds generated from sales of general items support the costs associated with running the simple website while funds generated from sales of my art go toward purchasing art materials and studio space.

The Art of J.E. Kessans
I'm Jewish Mixed-Media and Digital Artist living in Independence, KY (just 14 miles from Cincinnati, OH). My art explores socio-political themes. Using found objects, vintage images, adornments, watercolors, acrylics, origami, oil and chalk pastels, ephemera, photography, and whatever else I find along the way, I seek to create collages that intrigue and inspire others to reflect on current and past events by bringing together seemingly unrelated events and items into a cohesive multi-layered exploration of social, political, psychological, and spiritual realms. But, I'm also known to create ATCs that are just plain fun as well.
