This year (2006) has been a very different year for me. I've been trying to establish an eBay business to generate some income. I've learned that I can be a salesperson if I love what I'm selling.
When I first started thinking about a home business, I had dreams of selling Waterford because I love it so much. High prices and a low budget soon ended that pipedream. Not to mention distributors not wanting to talk to small business owners.
As to my passions, I have 3 cats who rule the house. I have a fondness for vermin - squirrels, raccoons and possums. And, of course, books.
My other job is that of a family care-giver. I changed my life rather drastically by moving in with my parents. They're both 89 and need help. My mother has dementia and my father has heart problems. Life is hard but when they're gone, I'll be able to say "I tried".
