You may find anything at Jan's Jewelry and Gifts. Everything is a treasure to someone. You may find great deals on solid gold and sterling silver jewelry, household items, handmade creative works, seasonal items, Longaberger and other great similar items, Crystal - Byrd crystal, Princess House, etc. I have sold clothing items, hair accessories, electronic items -- many categories. You may want to keep me on your browse list! You just never know!
I am not a dealer or interested in making a profit. I like to "Pay It Forward" by selling these items to you at cost plus ebay and paypal and shipping fees. If I shortchange anyone, it is sometimes myself. This gives me something occasionally to do to keep my mind sharper (or at least try to). I love pleasing people. So when one of my customers receives something they like and let me know, it makes me feel great as well. I do not mind if someone purchases items from me and then put them in their own stores. Anyway I can help someone else is great! Ebay members have been great to me as well! |

I am retired & disabled but do as much as my body allows. I am a grandmother of 3 very active children. I love flowers! I know a lot about the care of them because I have so many flower beds which my husband helps me with. I just walk around with scissors a lot nipping dead pieces off so they will look beautiful all of the time. I enjoy some crafts but again am limited what I can do but enjoy teaching my grandchildren crafts and things they can make. They're too fast for me, but they are very good and always listen to me and know they will always have fun and lots of Mom Mom's hugs and kisses. My husband has a pontoon boat kept at a nearby lake which we all enjoy. I enjoy the beautiful rides with the scenery so breathtaking. Wish I could paint it. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Sometimes we'll eat supper on the boat.
I have worn so many hats in my professional career but mostly was around the legal profession working in private law firms, State's Attorney's Office and then Court Reporter in a Circuit Court which kept me very busy. I became a Make-up Artist and helped a lot of brides and bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls look beautiful for that special day. I sold cosmetics and went to Texas to take sales courses. That was helpful when I started my own barbeque business with my line of 4 bbq sauces which all placed in a national contest. I was disabled at that time, had a great deal of knowledge but could not travel very well. The business grew so fast and I did not have enough help that I ended up closing it in the hopes that someday my recipes would go on. Well, I'm happy to say that that possiblilty has now come, and I am hoping anyday now to hear that a large corporation has purchased them. They were quite unique and you could do so much with them other than just bbq. I had passed the test for Social Worker and have always sold crafts, my specialty being wreaths. It's been a wild ride! My biggest pride of all is my two sons. I literally turned around one day and my two little boys were men that I'm very proud of who have their own homes and families. It's tough during these times for all of us, but we are all okay and will be okay. I have a fantastic husband who helps take care of me and I help take care of him. He is also disabled. So we each do what we can do and so far, we're doing okay. I am so thankful for his kindness and understanding with my daily challenges and his support in all I try to do which keeps getting less each year. Oh, and he wrote a book of his life story as a Captain in the merchant marines, so the creativity runs in the family. The boys are gifted in so many areas it amazes me, and the grandchildren are little offshoots of ourselves, and I have to laugh sometimes when they do or say something exactly like one of us. That's my life story, and I'm sticking with it! |
