JOAN and DOUG STURTEVANT are self-taught Folk/Outsider Artists.

Joan's style of art is pure visionary - each creation is a journey - she has no rules and very few directions - it begins in her imagination and after much pushing of paint around and into the canvas it makes it's way through to the spirit - until she can FEEL THE VISION - only then is the painting complete. Her goal is to give the viewer of the painting a feeling or sense of SPIRIT . Joan views her Art as a Gift and each painting is presented with lots of passion.

Doug gets a lot of his inspiration from Elvis Presley as you can see in his art.
