Welcome to Joan's Junque All About ME! page.

My passion for painting began shortly after purchasing my first home.  I wanted to create a warm environment for my husband, two daughters and I.

It all started with my glass door kitchen cabinets; I really didn't want to show off my plain white dishes, so I decided to paint them...

From there, I graduated to small decorative items, handbags, furniture, doors, walls...anything that would stand still long enough for me to paint it!

My private work and special orders include wedding favors, handbags and totes, wall murals and furniture refinishing.

When I am not painting, I am caring for my two greatest masterpieces-  Toni age 7 and Joanna age 4.  They are my inspiration, my assistants, my critics and my best customers!

In addition to my work, I do list an occasional comic book from my husband's collection.  While I have named that category "My Ex-Husband's Comics" in my store, we are happily married and will be celebrating our ten year anniversary in May.
