MY EBAY ADVENTURE

First let me introduce myself. My name is Paul and I am a Titanium PowerSeller.

I thought I would use this page to give you my eBay history so here goes.

I signed up for eBay in May 1999 with the idea of selling just a few items I had lying around the house.
Things didn't exactly go to plan! I listed my first item and was very excited in anticipation of my first sale, so what happened...I'll tell you, not one bid was made. I was VERY disappointed and decided there and
then that this wasn't going to work for me.

Then I read in a newspaper about a number of members who were making a living on eBay
so I thought I would give it another look. This time I was a bit more successful,
selling 2 or 3 items a week just as a hobby. I was pleased with that but in the back
of my mind I knew I wanted more.

Then luck stepped in!!

Some time later I came across a small eBay group that specialised in selling eBooks.
The group has a small membership site that explained in a very practical and
down to earth way EXACTLY how to become a successful eBayer, promising PowerSeller status
in the minimum time allowed by eBay (3 months - see here).

I immediately set about putting the steps advised by the group together and set it all in motion
(very easy to do by the way). Well, to say that I couldn't believe what happened next
is an understatement!! My sales just kept coming and coming...improving all the time.
 As you can imagine - this was an exciting time for me!

Remember that promise of achieving PowerSeller status in 3 months? Well I am proud
and excited to say that I achieved it WITHIN 3 months, achieving Bronze level
just 2 months after joining this small group
 (others in the group achieved similar results and are still doing so today).
Now I know this is quicker than eBays quoted minimum time, but it happened all the same.

I then quickly went through the PowerSeller levels until I achieved Titanium level
(the top PowerSeller level) just 3 months after joining that small eBay group.
 I really do have a lot to thank the originator of that group for! Again this seems
very quick when you look at the PowerSeller requirements, but nevertheless this is all perfectly true!

This has all happened by selling eBooks as the backbone of the business. Right now
