Our Cost Accountant

Well, you probably know what it's like.  The end of the fiscal year rolls around, and you are presented with a spreadsheet.... "These parts haven't turned in several years"..."They are going on the obsolescence list".... "Do what you can to move these parts - anywhere you want but out of here and NOW"....  This is the problem I inherited.  So, being an I.T. guy I figured what the heck - we'll stick this stuff in an e-bay store and see if we can get something for these perfectly good parts that apparently have no use around here.  So, let's blame it on the latest engineering change, or daily purchasing challenge.  In any case if you can use these parts you're going to get a good price and fast delivery.  Our accountants just want it out of here!  And we certainly do not want to disappoint the accountants.
A Damn Nice Sturgeon

We are a Midwestern company.  Our products are "engineered to order" and we specialize in building highly automated machinery.  Our facility is just under 200,000 Sq. Ft.  We do business around the world - in fact our parent organization owns a number of similar and not so similar companies all around the world.  We work with over 500 suppliers of OEM parts and more than 35 manufactured parts suppliers.  We are proud to have earned ISO 9001 certification way back in January of 1994.

Customer Service is a way of life for us.  It is the reason we exist today.  While a large number of manufacturer's in the United States have moved their operations overseas, we are proud to be in the U.S. and thriving because we are totally focused on our customer's needs.  We operate an emergency 24 hour hotline for spare parts.  And we work in a fun, motivating, and fast paced environment.  Our management team is young and energetic.  They listen and learn daily about what it takes to be successful.  We believe in cutting edge technology and an open, pleasant working environment.
