How shipping prices are determined
United States Postal Service
- First Class Mail: Actual cost + 1.00, of which .75 is for delivery confirmation.
- Priority Mail: Actual cost + 1.00, of which .75 is for delivery confirmation.
- Flat Rate - Regular: 11.35 = Actual cost (10.35) + 1.00, of which .75 is for delivery confirmation.
- Flat Rate - Large: 15.00 = Actual cost (13.95) + 1.05, of which .75 is for delivery confirmation.
- Wheel Weights - flat rate regular boxes x 2: 25.00 = Actual cost (22.70) + 2.30, of which 1.50 is for delivery confirmation.
- Wheel Weights - flat rate large boxes x 2: 30.00 = Actual cost (27.90) + 2.10, of which 1.50 is for delivery confirmation.
United Parcel Service (UPS)
- Ground: Actual cost + 3.00 to cover the cost of the box, tape, and sometimes packing material.
- Engine Blocks: Actual cost + 5.00 to cover the cost of the box, tape, and packing material.
- Hoods: Actual cost + 8.00 to cover the cost of over-size 1 package, the box, tape, and sometimes packing material.
- Sometimes hoods are wrapped, which UPS charges 7.50 for and an unboxed item, sometimes they are in a box, filled completely with pop-corn, of which the handling fee never covers the cost of - the type of packing depends on the type of hood.
- Rear Tires & Rims: Actual cost + 8.00 to cover the cost of over-size 1 package, the box, and tape.
- Sometimes rear tires are wrapped, which UPS charges 7.50 for and an unboxed item - per tire, so the handling fee does not always cover the cost of because when wrapped, tires are shipping seperately, thus a charge of 7.50 x 2 = 15.00.
- Wrapped Items: Actual cost + 10.00 to cover the cost of the wrap + the 7.50 UPS charge for an unboxed item.
- Transmissions: Actual cost + 10.00 to cover the cost of the box, tape, and packing material.
- Transaxles: Actual cost + 15.00 to cover the cost of over-size 1 package, the box, tape, and packing material.
- Engines: Actual cost + 25.00 to cover the cost of the wood, box, tape, and packing material.
Freight
- Actual freight charges are paid by the customer whn they receive their item, freight charges are paid to the freight company. All we charge is a 10.00 pallet fee to cover the cost of the pallet, strapping, and wrap + an additional 5.00 for additional items to cover the cost of the boxes.
- If you are over-charged on shipping, please let us know right away, we will do what we can to correct the problem.
- Many times customers pay before we have a chance to combine shipping, sometimes we catch it and correct it, sometimes it is missed. If we missed it, please email and we will correct it as best we can.

Guarantee Details
- Length of Guarantee:
- Electrical parts:
- If it fails within 7 days, we will refund your payment
or replace the part.
- The 7 days start 3 days AFTER the item is
shipped.
- Faulty parts may need to be returned to verify its
condition.
- Engines:
- All engines are guaranteed to be in the condition described in
the auction.
- The guarantee on engines does not extend for any length of
time. Once it is installed, if there is a problem we need to be notified
immediately - NO EXCEPTIONS. We do allow time for shipping, delivery date
will be verified and guarantee will be based on that date. If you wait to
install the engine, attempt any repair, modify the engine, or fail to contact us
immediately, there will be no return or refund on the engine - NO
EXCEPTIONS.
- ALL engines must be returned to verify failure. We have
found that most engine failures are a result of customers not putting oil in the
engines prior to starting them or something minor due to settling during
shipment.
- Engines that fail due to a customers negligence are NOT
guaranteed.
- All other parts:
- If it fails within 7 days, we will refund your payment or
replace the part.
- The 7 days start 3 days AFTER the item is
shipped.
- Faulty parts may need to be returned to verify its
condition.
- Refunds:
- All refunds are given the same way payment was received.
- Some parts may need to be returned in order to get a refund.
- Items that need to be returned are decided on a case-by-case
basis.
- ALL engines must be returned.
- In most cases, buyer is responsible for all shipping
costs.
