Hi!
Time for an update! Welcome to my page on ebay. I have been buying and selling on ebay for years now - with over 3000 successful transactions. I find I enjoy selling more than buying, actually. I have "met" some truly wonderful people on both sides of the transaction as well.
About what I sell
Some of what I'm selling are things that just don't fit me anymore, or just aren't my style... and I've always been good at purchasing lots of clothes for "just in case" and then never having the opportunity to wear them more than once or twice, if at all. Or, if I like a particular item, and can't decide between two or three colors, I buy them all. Now, though, I want the closet space back, so it's time to get rid of some things. I am also listing some things that I'm selling for a few close family members and friends, who seem to have the same purchasing addiction that I have. Some elderly relatives are downsizing, too. The things I have listed run the gamut from the Gap to Prada, Esprit to Blue Fish, Manolos to Keds, Oilily to Lands' End. Plus china from Royal Worcester, and Belleek lately. Everything I sell, however, is in very good to excellent to NWT condition, absolutely nothing I wouldn't wear myself. Anything that can be washed is washed (usually by hand). Things that require drycleaning are cleaned, if they need it. I REALLY hate auctions that say "it has a small spot on it, which should come out in the laundry." I do my best to catch all that ahead of time, so you don't have do deal with it. Any minor repairs (separated seams, loose buttons, falling hems) I will do as well, being pretty handy with a needle... and my mom is a professional seamstress, for any larger jobs. Never an icky smell, either... I HATE THAT TOO. Check my feedback, which will bear this out.
That AUTHENTICITY question...
If you are wondering - is what I sell authentic? Always, absolutely, guaranteed, YES! I do NOT purchase items from unknown sources for resale, and I don't sell on consignment for others in a retail type of setup. Everything I sell is either mine, or a close friend or relative's; I know where it came from. No second quality merchandise... never yard sales, resale shops, or even estate sales. Everything came from the original retail brand name shop.
About me...
I spend most of my time with my two sons, Avery and Max... they are 12 and 15. I volunteered for many years as a Cub Scout Den Leader and Boy Scout committee member. Plus there is Janie, my chocolate standard poodle, who is almost 5, pictured above with me - an amazing dog (though I still miss my sweet little Lucy, gone 4 years now). I am employed as a programmer/analyst, part time, and had been working at home for years... but my little one is in seventh grade, so I am in the office three days a week (school hours only). My husband is Sr. VP of Technology at my company, so I work (indirectly) for him... fun, fun, fun. Yes, I have done web-based programming (among other things) -- so why is my page here not more interesting, with all sorts of exciting HTML bells and whistles? Someday, someday.... !
