I am a Musician and Collector who sells on ebay as a Hobby. I have decided to use this page as some sort of idea as to how I operate. I sell and describe old and collectible items as best as I can, but I believe each individual has a different opinion and expectation about what they are looking at. This is why I take a large amount of CLEAN CLEAR PHOTO's, to show every angle as though someone was turning it in their hand. This helps with inspection. My most important Rule is: "ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING HIGH", Make sure it is exactly what you expect, chances are you know a heck of a lot more about what you are bidding on than I do, I am a Tag Sale, Flea Market, Estate Sale Picker with a decent well-rounded knowledge, but not an authority! If there is any problem with our trade please contact me before leaving Neutral or Negative feedback, chances are we can work something out, I will refund full amount paid, including shipping, ONLY WHEN THE BUYER INSURES ITEM. If the item arrives damaged and it was not insured, I will only return the End of Auction paid price and not the shipping price. This is more than fair to accommodate buyers. All I ask is not to be taken advantage of and I will return the same. My quoted shipping prices are flat rate prices and near exact to actual shipping price. There may be a descrepancy, plus or minus a couple bucks, here and there, but most times my shipping prices are Under-quoted and VERY fair. I DO NOT MAKE MONEY OFF SHIPPING AND NEVER INTEND TO!
MY SHIPPING + HANDLING RULES
As I said before I am a Musician, Antiques and Collectibles collector/seller and Ebay sales is my Hobby. Typically I can be away from the computer for 2-3 day spurts, so I only ship on MONDAYS. If you buy an item on Tues-Sunday, it ships out on the following Monday, even if you pay instantly by Paypal. This is Typical and is my Guarantee, there IS however many times that I WILL send out some packages on a Thursday or Friday before the normal Monday "Ship-Out", but this is when I am not busy and is a Plus for the buyer. If this is not agreeable then I ask the reader to please not bid. I try to find interesting items for Collectors who "HAVE FUN" collecting and can maybe wait an extra couple days for an extra careful, OVERDONE packaging job and a GREAT ITEM!
ALL SHIPPING PRICES AND RESERVES (IF ANY) ARE LISTED IN MY AUCTIONS!
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS READ THIS----> PLEASE check with me on your Shipping Price BEFORE bidding! This will totally eliminate any guessing as to what Shipping & Handling Price will be. If I list a price for Europe, than you can assume that is all of Europe and all European Countries will be priced the same and once again, this price is fixed and non-negotiable.
FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT TO ME: But lately it has become a neglected forum, I'm down to less than 40% of my buyers leaving feedback and for many years I have left nearly 100% of both buyers and sellers +Feedback. This has helped to build a Great Feedback record for my traders, but if less than 40% leave Feedback for me, then it isn't too fair. I spend extra time and effort to leave great feedbacks and I only ask for the same to be fair. IT IS UP TO THE BUYER TO LEAVE + FEEDBACK FIRST as a way of letting me know they are pleased with the item; by reading the Feedback left for me, I will then leave the same Feedback. IF I AM THE BUYER I will extend the same and leave Feedback first, expecting a like response.
RECORD LP's - I sell lots of great SCARCE & RARE Records, Tapes, CD's and Posters, my RATING CHART is as follows: The VISUAL grading of records is judged as follows: MINT rating = Perfect/Sealed. >> NMINT- rating = Slightly less than perfect, looks barely played but not sealed. >> EX+ rating = Vinyl has a few noticeable imperfections, nothing major and very glossy. VG++ rating = Not quite good enough to be "Ex" grade/ Some scuffs, possibly a few light scratches which doesn't affect play. Nice & Glossy. >> VG+ rating = Has a few more minor scratches and/or scuffs, but definitely well taken care of and still glossy. >> VG rating = Has too many scratches and scuffs to be called "VG+", but still in fairly nice condition and is usually "RARE", because I usually do not sell a common rcord in this condition. >> VG- rating = Not great condition, quite a bit of wear. But "VERY RARE"! >> G rating = Excessive wear. Probably plays through but very noisy and Very Rare. >> POOR rating = Just what it says - no guarantee but the LP is "SUPER RARE" in any condition. (This never really happens!!)
PRINTED MANUALS & PAPER ITEMS. I sell lots of this stuff and always inspect and photo items well. I never knowingly sell repro paper without mentioning it in my auctions. INFORMATIONAL MANUALS are not returnable because they can easily be copied and then returned, especially when they are very rare.
SO!!!!!! These are my rules, if you agree you can now bid on my auction for a FAIR PRICE a SQUARE DEAL and always a FUN, RELAXED TRADE! Thanks for reading and HAVE FUN ON EBAY!
