Back to previous page  JonesyBlues Custom Shop Me playing a 70's reissue Strat I stripped down... I have always loved Music and started playing trumpet in 5th grade, I got the Louis Armstrong Jazz award my Senior year. Discovered the Guitar in the late seventies and that lead me on the road to tinkering with guitars, amps, fx. A Friend of mine who actually owned a 1957 Fender Stratocaster sold me a Strat clone that he had. It was mint green and had an African exotic wood neck, 3 stacked single coils and some switching mods. I think I must of re-wired that guitar a couple of dozen times while learning tricks from books and Seymour Duncan pickup diagrams. He was one of the first pickup Gurus. In the early 80's I once installed a DiMarzio super distortion in a vintage 1971 Blonde Strat,(hey the single coil just wasn't getting it) the local Music store owner cringed when he seen what had had done to the "Sacred" Fender Strat..OMG, but due to demand Fender started offering the HSS as a stock option shortly after. Many players were wanting Humbuckers in their Strats for the Metal and Hard rock. Full Blown Jimmy Page Rig, offered on limited basis... I am a big fan of the "Blues" and I love all the old roots stuff as well as Texas blues & British blues. Good guitar Tone is key to playing any style of music. Listen to Jimmy, SRV, BB King Carlos, what do you hear? Excellent TONE.... If you don't have that tone it just ain't happening. If you got the "Tone" Than you really can play and express yourself to your full potential.style I started out with one Strat harness on ebay in the fall of 2006 and I now currently offer over 20 different styles of wiring harnesses for Fender Strat, Tele, P-bass, J-Bass and Gibson replacement harnesses for Les Paul, SG, 335 etc... Out of demand I also offer many of these in Left Hand configuration using true counter roatating CTS POTS. I also offer Fender replacement necks and a variety of parts and other guitar related items.
