Selling Philosophy and Policies

Coins and Cards I have listed on Ebay:  In most cases the coins and cards I have listed on Ebay are PCGS coins and PSA cards.  Although I will occasionally have a NGC coin or SGC card available.  Very rarely will I list any other grading service or raw items.  Ussually I will send in a Morgan or Peace dollar Vam for attribution at PCGS before listing it, as it is difficult for the buyer to see most die breaks from my scanned pictures. 

Shipping and Insurance:  I pay all shipping and insurance.  I do not skimp on packaging.  All cards and coins are shipped in boxes, not envelopes.  This provides less chance of damage.  Orders over $500 are ussually shipped Registered mail.  Orders between $50 and $499 are ussually shipped Priority mail.  Orders under $50 are shipped either Priority mail or 1st class mail.  I think it is very important that the buyer gets the item safely and as quickly as possible.

Shipping Confirmation:  I email buyers when I ship items, letting them know when it was shipped, type of shipping, and the tracking number when available.

Feedback:  As a Seller, I always leave feedback at the time payment clears the bank, and I am ready to ship item.   As a Buyer, I leave feedback ussually within a week of receiving items.  I found it is easier for me to process several packages once a week, than everyday.  It may take me a while, but I do rate every transaction.  If I have any concerns or problems, I will email the Seller before leaving feedback.

Deleting Pictures on listings:   I wait 10 days after shipping before deleting pictures.  This gives the buyer time to compare the item in hand to the picture, to make sure it is the same coin or card.

Quality of Pictures:  I use a regular home scanner for all pictures.  This works fine for the cards, but is not so good for the coins.  Most of the coins I have pictured look much better in person than in the listings.  Toned coins in particular, do not show the various colors very well in my scans.  I am planning to work on that problem in the future.  I just need to educate my self with a camara first.  Not my strong suite.

Returns:  I accept returns for any reason.  That includes all certified items.  I give 100% refunds and ussually will refund shipping both ways.  I know a lot of sellers will not accept returns on certified material, but I respectfully disagree.  Even the top grading companies can make a mistake or simply give an opinion that my customer disagrees with.  I do not consider any sale final, until the buyer has looked at the item in hand, and decides to keep it......That includes all coins and cards graded by any third party grader.
