Hi!  I'm Joy, a past school teacher, church musician and educator.  We've lived mostly in large cities, but my husband and I took a summer vacation to a location we found so green,  relaxed and scenic that we opted to move.  Now we live beside a clear stream in a green valley among the foothills of the Orzark's Boston Mountains.  Just a few minutes drive takes us to the U. of A. or shopping in N. W. Arkansas' Fayetteville metroplex.  

With a passion for decorating and design, I turned a hobby into a business.  I opened a florist/gift shop with a wedding emphasis in a small nearby town.   Amore (like the  old song, "When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that's amore...")  was its name to attract weddings and to be under A--first in the yellow pages! 

My beautiful, well-stocked little shop was welcomed in the small town.    Happy clients.  Happy me.   Still I learned that the town was a bit too small to sustain me in a big way.    I decided to pack up and offer my items on Ebay.  Thus began joysamore2! 

I want to work part-time, travel some, rest a little, and put my energy into my family.  I have a nice husband. a daughter who just graduated and bought her first home, and a dear, very old dog.   I want a positive balance of family involvement, productivity, and leisure. 

Ebay is keeping me interested because it is flexable, allowing me to  pass on rarely used items that I've accumulated over the years at my home to someone who will use and appreciate them, as well as brand new items that I had acquired.   If you have any advice for me in this new venture, I would really be happy to hear it.
