The Real Me

I have been thinking for a long time about what to write on this page. I did not come up with anything specially clever, so I decided to just write about how my small business started.

One day, I wanted to buy a hard-to-find copy of an old music CD. I made a search on the internet and I found it on a big internet store. I was thrilled that I finally had the chance to own that CD after years and years of searching.

When the CD arrived home, I noticed that my address was handwritten and that the return address was a home, not a business.

"Hey!' - I thought. "If I bought this from a real person, then I must be able to sell my own CDs and DVDs too!"

My wife and I are on a quest to become debt-free. At that time, I was considering finding a second job to complement our finances and attack our debts faster. I gathered all the DVDs I had and listed them for sale. It worked out so well, that I bought a big 'batch' of DVDs for resale.

The DVD selling business is extremely competitive. I have made many mistakes at first, but I've learned from them. If I wanted to survive on this business, I had to find a way to be different from the others. So I decided to provide good experiences to everyone who purchases from me. I answer all the emails, I don't write misleading descriptions, I jump in quickly to solve a problem, whenever one happens (every once in a full moon they do happen) and most of all. I ship the items immediately so that there's no further delays.

As a buyer, I know how excited we get when our item arrives!!
