All About History
Most of my interests as it pertains to E-bay involve items from history, particularly trains and coins. I enjoy collecting coins as it offers a chance to hold a piece of history in your hand (not as easy to do with a locomotive). I tend to collect mostly type coins, particularly gold, though various issues become more interesting to me over time. My interest in trains is primarily in old steam power, and streamline passenger trains. Having grown up in the midwest, my favorite railroads are the Chicago & Eastern Illinois (C&EI) and the Missouri Pacific, since both ran near my home growing up. Right now, I am working with the Pacific Railroad Preservation Association in Portland OR on the restoration and maintenance of the Spokane, Portland & Seattle Engine #700, which is shown below.
How I Do Business
When doing business on E-bay, I try to follow Jesus' Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." This means I try to treat folks the way I would want to be treated, and not returning bad treatment with bad treatment. So when I purchase an item, I pay quickly with good funds. When selling, I ship quickly and try to package shipments securely so they arrive just how they left my hands. If any customer has a problem or a question, just e-mail me and I'll do all I can to work things out. The best thing I can do for people who buy from me is to make sure they are happy, satisfied customers. I am primarily a collector, but I often have duplicate or upgraded coins up for auction.
