JUNKERGIRL'S RED BARNS
|
The EBay happening started as a hobby because we needed an outlet for our garage sale, flea market and auction treasures. My wife Junkergirl and I have been saving, hoarding and collecting for 30+ years and our barns are busting at the seams. My spouse is no admirer of computers and she pretty well stays away from these electron, proton and neutron storage units. I on the other hand find them a very useful tool for pedaling our wares. Junkergirl and I have this unique ability to find items which can be recovered, restored and resold. I think of our EBay venture as a salvage operation where we buy and resell items that really shouldn't occupy the land fill. It's utterly amazing what gets thrown away or discarded in the US of A and we are finding a tiny fraction of these articles. Our chosen task is offering them new life via the auction block.

It's hard to believe we have been doing the Ebay Thing for 11 years (It's fun and sure beats working for some body else) and what has been sold. The truth of the matter is that we buy to resell and we are always on the lookout for stuff that can be placed on the auction block! We have sold items ranging from an International Harvester Tractor to a Viking ship tie clasp and from a British 1812 war medal to a Teco vase. You just never know what we might come across and place on the Ebay auction block, so check back from time to time and see what’s new at JUNKERGIRL'S RED BARNS
A throught for today:
J. B. Priestley wrote "The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?"
