Great titles for homeschoolers and others!
Greetings from the Rocky Mountain West. I am Karen and this is my little hobby buying books, reading and using them in my homeschool, and then reselling them so I can buy more.
I began my homeschooling journey twelve years ago using standard curriculum won't mention any names. My children and I learned that we did not learn much this way and also that school was not very fun. I happened upon the Landmark books, and being a history buff I picked up a few. This grew into a complete collection of 185 Landmark books.
Next, I started using Sonlight curriculum and found that reading aloud to my children brought us closer together and that we loved being in the middle of a great book. Yes, we still had to do math and English but history became our central subject.
As I picked up books, some new but mostly used, I would sell some each year to earn money to buy what I needed for the next year. This has turned into my little book business which is funding my children's college fund - (okay not completely but it helps.)
My oldest has graduated from college with a degree in Missionary Aviation. My next oldest is starting her sophmore year this fall and working towards a degree in Biblical Studies. My youngest is entering 7th grade and so little by little I am paring down the heavily laden bookshelvesabout 3,000 books at present.

World Landmark Books, A Homeschooler's Guide

I started a publishing business this year so that I could write and publish a book that has long been in the planning stages in my mind.
As a Landmark book collector, I looked high and low for some kind of reference book that would tell me about the titles, how to find them, which ones were worth buying, and how much they might cost. Not being able to find such a reference, I decided to write one myself.
It has been published and you can look at a sample pdf file by emailing me and letting me know you are interested. The book is for sale at Lifetime Gifts and Books, BooksBloom, and others. I also offer a copy on my ebay auctions each week.
