Our goal for selling
online is to bring together the best quality merchandise with those who
will appreciate the beauty and historical value of the pieces we sell,
while being fair and honest in our pricing practices.
Who
Is Karen?
I am an Army Veteran, formerly married to an active duty military member, and we have 3 children, one of whom has special needs but because he is extremely smart the school district did not want to acknowledge his needs. I was a paralegal at the time I started battling with our school district to get my son the help he needed, but due to my fight I further educated myself and became an Advocate for Children with Disabilities and Chair
of the Special Needs Parent Council for our school district. Helping
parents get their children the education that is rightfully theirs is a
passion for me, so please check our links page for information and resources relevant to disabilities, educational rights and how to help your child in school.
Because my work was seasonal in nature, with some exceptions, I decided
to try online selling to help clear out a lot of books and collectibles
I had around the house and to continue helping support the family.
Well, I got hooked, and love being able to find something beautiful in
my area and sell it to a person anywhere in the world who would appreciate
and treasure it.
My
Standards
I hold myself and others to very high standards in what I sell and how
I do business and because of this I am a member of a few associations whose goals are the same as mine. I am a member of the Glass & Pottery Sellers
Association whose purpose
is to
provide a better on-line trading community for buyers and sellers
alike.
For your buying peace of mind all GPSA members have been carefully
screened and have agreed to follow the GPSA Guidelines. I am
also SquareTrade Verified and display the ST Seal on all auctions I run
on Ebay. SquareTrade's
goal is to create a community of
sellers that are committed to their customers. The Seal Program goes
beyond the feedback system to provide a basis for added trust by
verifying a Seal Member's identity and/or address. Seal members
have committed to a set of selling standards. To learn more about

Rest assured that anything you purchase from me will be packaged with
the utmost care and the goal of withstanding the trials of
shipping. I
myself have received fragile items in the mail that were not packed
well, and I was
upset and disappointed as anyone would be when they arrived
broken.
That is why I make sure that the packing materials I use are of the
best quality and correct for the items I sell. I
insure all of my items and in order to do so must package any fragile
items to at
least the USPS
guidelines. I go above and beyond those guidelines every time because
not only do I want you to receive your item in the best condition, but
I hate seeing anything that has survived years if not decades be
destroyed by careless packaging or shipping.
Customer satisfaction with all purchases is a priority here! If for
some reason you feel that I was inaccurate in describing an item I will
refund your money once I receive the item back. Items must be
repackaged the way they were sent to you, insured and returned within
10 days of receipt of the item.

I have very eclectic tastes, so it is always a treasure hunt of sorts
on my site! Whether it be a book, collectible glass & pottery
or other collectibles, there is always a person somewhere that would
love to cherish what I have found. So I thank you for the opportunity
