Welcome to my me-page.
I have been born and raised in beautifull sunny South Africa, but have been living here in the USA for nearly 7 years.
Since childhood I've loved creating and experimenting with any form of art. We grew up in an evironment filled with the sounds, rich landscape and luscious beauty of Africa..... a wonderfull inspiration to constantly create!!!
I've always dabbled in the arts.... pottery, calligraphy, fabric-painting.... but everytime I keep returning to wire and bead art.
My e-bay name Karooart is derived from the area in South Africa where I grew up.... the Little Karoo.
At the moment I enjoy creating and selling polymer clay beads on ebay.  Polymer clay is a wonderfully exciting and versatile medium.  It lends itself to sculpture, color mixing and a wide variaty of other possibilities.
