Ise province - From long ago when you mention Seishu Muramasa master swordsmith there was almost always talk of
mysterious swords. It was said that Muramasa swords had mysterious powers, there has been many superstitions
surrounding the swords, such as the swords want of blood. Especially it was mentioned that Muramasa swords
had brought misfortune to the Tokugawa Family, the ruling class at that time. Some people who had the swords
would erase part of the name of the swordsmith the Mura or the Masa and felt at ease at doing so to avoid
any misfortune.

The Hunt
My name is Aldwin and I'm from the Pearl of the Orient. I'm always on the hunt for katanas (Japanese swords) to add to my collection, thus the name Katana Hunter. I became fascinated with samurai swords when I started training for aikido under the teachings of Ernesto Talag Sensei, Chief Instructor of Ki Association International (KIAI) and a former member of the Ki Society. In 1966, he was among the first three Filipinos to be promoted in traditional Aikido (Aikikai style) to the rank of 1st Dan Blackbelt under Sensei Koichi Tohei. Then on June of 2007, we have affiliated with Aikido Yuishinkai, which was founded by Master Koretoshi Maruyama. I'm also interested in vintage kimonos, getas, kakejiku, daruma dolls, anything Japanese.I'm also an Answer Center responder who actively post on most of eBay's Southeast Asian sites. Mainly at eBay Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.
