I've been married to my husband Jay for 15 plus years. Combined we have 3 daughters, 2 sons, 3 Grand daughters and 3 Grand sons. We enjoy shopping for antiques, camping, fishing, canoeing, traveling, reading and spending time with our families and friends. I have a Yorkie named Molly (my little Love-Bug) and 3 male, siamese cats named Simon, Moguai and Boogie. We live on a small farm and like having lots of friends and family over for BBQ's, games and fireworks and HUGE bon-fires in the wonderful country side where we live. I LOVE meeting and making new friends! I have collection of many, many Bears. I have a large collection of old and new quilts. My husband & I also like to restore antique floor lamps and antique furniture. I love to cook (especially for large gatherings), do crafts, Knit, crochet, paint, gardening, and love to sew and make quilts aswell as make clothes for my Grandkids. I collect Cook Books (Old & New).....as I LOVE to cook!! I love to ride horses and have just recently started taking my Grandkids to start riding as well. *They're Loving it too!* >^..^<* Life's Little Instructions and Some things to Believe In*
I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us ALL * We should count our blessings and give Thanks for them * I believe we live in the most beautiful and blessed country in the world * I believe What goes around, comes around * You only have ONE chance to make a Good 1st impression * You should keep your promises...No matter What * Drink champagne for no reason at all * Marry ONLY for Love * Buy whatever kids are selling on tables in their front yards * Compliment even the smallest of improvements * Leave things a little better than you found it * Never refuse homemade brownies * Watch a sunrise at least once a year * Plant a tree on your birthday * Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them * If it'll make someone feel better...Say it! * Feed a stranger's expired parking meter * Sing in the shower * Send LOTS of Valentine cards * Look people in the eye when you talk to them * Keep secrets * Ask for a raise when you feel you've earned it * Be forgiving of yourself and others * Have a firm handshake * Make new friends but cherish the old ones * Commit yourself to constant improvement * Practice patience * Never underestimate the power of Love * Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation * Take responsibility for every area of your life * Be there when people need you * Give compliments freely * Call your Mother! ....and the Most important of all, The Golden Rule! Treat others as you would want to be treated! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I hope I've shared enough about myself and my feelings about life in general that you know me a little better than just another screen name on the internet. I believe in keeping life simple. The world is so complicated. Why make it tougher than it has to be? Life is, after all...what we make of it. We have one shot at it, one go around. Since I haven't got much to leave as far as a fat bank account, jewels or a great big estate, but I'd like to think I left something, even if it's just My Life's Little Instructions or rules to live by.
