My name is Kathleen Knight and I am an agricultural auditor.  My job takes me traveling about four days a week during the growing season.  I also work with science researchers mostly dealing with bats and small mammals who cannot afford a full time quality control/assurance officer.  I would like to specialize in veterinarians, private professional animal breeders, zoos and researchers etc.

I enjoy reading books that are related to science especially biology, zoology, physicology, anatomy, etc.  Books I suggest (not in above catagories) are The God Particle, A Rivers Tale: A Year on the Mekong, First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers and Stiff: the Curious Lives of Cadavers. Favorite authors are Ray Bradbury and Larry Macmurtry.

I have traveled (backpacked mostly) to Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Laos, Italy, Cambodia, Korea, Bermuda, Thailand and Hawaii (yes, I know that it is part of the US).  I do volunteer work for a small clinic (termially ill patients) in Thailand and combine my quality skills with fun.  I have reviewed a medical book against the clinic practices as well as documentating procedures not included in the book.  The clinic is accesable only on foot or by motor bike up a 11 Km mountain "road".  I have crashed on several ocasions. I was there during the Tsunami (an eye-opening experience).

I collect US and USSR stamps, paint full-sized animal models and have bred and raised birds, reptiles, dogs and thoroughbred horses.  I have splunked, skydived, jumped moving trains, autocrossed my 30 year old Alfa Romeo (which I still own 29 years later) professionally competed in motocross, horse show jumping and traditional 3d target archery as well as fought men and women in reenactment battles as a combat archer on too many occasions (ouch). I have raise 5 non-government supported foster children (I am now a "foster grandmother" 6 times over).  I have one "blood" son who is the apple of my eye and now works with computers and one of my foster daughters feels like she is truely my blood daughter. I also sponser two children through "Sustaniable Cambodia" which is a great org, google them and just plain visit them in person.

My current sport is Geocaching which can be learned about at geocaching.com.  It is fun and challenging.

Despite the above comments, I am really quite boring.
