Tamra Dore' began Katy Budget Books in October 1983 in the Houston suburb of Katy, Texas.  We sell a wide variety of new & used books for a large community of readers.  We have regular book clubs meeting monthly in the store and authors regularly honor us with visits so customers can meet them and have their books signed. 

 Here is information for upcoming author signing events in the store:

• Katy Budget Books is proud to be the official Bookseller for the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in Houston Texas April 25-29 2007! We'll be there at the Book Fair on Saturday where over 300 authors will be signing their books.

Our store staff knowledgable and love books, so drop us a line if you have any questions. Questions will be relayed to the proper person for research and a timely reply, so please show patience.  Also our weekends are usually quite busy, so we will reply as soon as possible, usually on weekdays, and all our listings should end on weekdays as well. 

We do a good volume of business with the schools in the local districts, so we are quite experienced in getting those special orders ready as well as assisting with the reading lists for all age levels. If you have special requests, please let us know and we will check stock for you.
