I LOVE fashion, LOVE the fabric, LOVE the art and texture of it. Unique design, beautiful detail and great fabric - Heaven!
In previous lifes, I've worked in engineering on Naval submarines (not in the Navy, DOD), teaching engineering students in Northern California, teaching Internet engineering folks as a corporate trainer, costuming small theatre groups in Northern California and making wedding dresses and formal wear for fun and profit. My last iteration was a clothing store in my town for real women - that forgotten "plus size" - I've been royality of that clan forever.
Why can't women who have figures and fullness find clothing that fits, looks great, and feels divine?
Some health issues had me selling my store and taking care of me and enjoying my family for the last 2 years. I still have closets full of clothes and accessories, fabulous finds I just can't pass up and things that don't fit my life anymore.
Again, I'm costuming for the theatre, still go to the fashion market from time to time, and run across some amazing finds.
Oh, yeah, the name - When the Internet first started and I picked up a name on IRC, I was crew for racing sailboats in San Francisco Bay - hence, kaysails. Don't really sail much anymore, but that's always been my name.
