Welcome to my Lionel Postwar About Me Page
Thank you for taking time to visit. Originally from the mountainous farm region of northwestern PA, currently residing in Virginia, I am in my mid 60's, retired and a second generation Lionel collector specializing in collecting and restoring Postwar F-3s. This is my hobby; not a business! I am very proud to sell only the best items and rarely list a piece on ebay that is less than excellent. I take great pride in my work and the feedback from my customers. I never discard anything that is Lionel and salvage everything I can. They may be reproducing some of the "oldies; but goodies" however, they just aren't the same as the originals. I only restore those pieces that just cannot be brought up to my standards. I have been on ebay for over 10 years and very much enjoy "BS"ing with fellow enthusiasts. I especially enjoy bringing new folks into the world of old cars and trains. RETURN POLICY: I am proud of my reputation and stand behind everything I sell. Items may be returned if I overlooked something or there a rational reason for the return. I will refund purchase price less shipping and insurance both ways. My first love was restoring old muscle cars. A few years ago I sold the last one, a 65 Chevelle SS that was rated one of the best in the country. A top show winner that appeared in many magazines. This was a total "frame off" restoration. I did all of the work myself in my barn. The hobby became too expensive and I was starting to slow down. I now concentrate on my second love. Postwar Lionel.
