(I'm talking plain S-Shields, nothing fancy, JUST the shield.) I HAVE A NEW OBSESSION!! #1 is a vampire tale, I think it was a standard "vampire telling his sad story to a human guest" story, but in the end the human guest goes down into the basement and finds a dead bat tangled in a web of silver thread, hung across a doorway...it was the ghost of a vampire telling his tale. This one may have been in one of those "scary" anthologies...Vault of Horror, Tales From the Crypt, whatever...I've been told that it sounds like the "I, Vampire" stories from the last issues of House Of Mystery...However the one issue of HoM that I know I had is not it (thanks Jerro!) so it may or may not be one of those issues. The hunt continues! Hoo-HA! (Unfortunately I have absolutely NO idea where to begin now...Oh well, the thrill of the hunt!) Of course, it's been nearly two decades since I first read these, so my memories could be hazy...so if you know of anything even CLOSE to these...let me know.
