I started on ebay like so many others. House was over flowing, decided some things were too nice to off load at Good Will so looked at ebay. Made a nice profit and kept going. Nothing in the house is safe anymore! I told my kids regularily, "Pick it up or it goes on ebay!"

My husband and I have always enjoyed antiquing and the thrill of the hunt. Even though our interests are totally different, estate saling is a great way to spend time together and argue and laugh. I'll roll my eyes at the items he brings home ( He can't leave a sale without buying a flashlight....needless to say we now have 23465274879823 of them) and he wonders why anyone would buy 5 tubs of fabric.  But we do find some fun treasures and useful items and list new items every week. We have a nice selection of cookbooks and cookbooklets, military books, sheetmusic and songbooks and loads of Norwegian and Swedish books and information.
