OUR STORE FRONT IS IN AHMEEK, MICHIGAN

WE ARE LOCATED IN THE HISTORIC "GLASS BROS. GENERAL STORE", WHICH SERVED THE MINING COMMUNITY OF AHMEEK IN 1915. MUCH OF THE ORIGINAL ARCHITECTURE STILL REMAINS: ORNATE TIN CEILINGS, BEAUTIFUL OAK STAIRCASE AND HARDWOOD FLOORS THROUGHOUT MAKE A WONDERFUL SETTING FOR THE ANTIQUES.

WHERE IN THE HECK IS AHMEEK, MICHIGAN? WE ARE IN THE UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN ON THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA-MICHIGANS COPPER COUNTRY-GODS COUNTRY!

WE ARE DAN & MARGE KONTUR, DAN & I BOTH TOOK EARLY RETIREMENTS FROM OUR 9 TO 5 JOBS, WE PROBABLY PUT IN MORE HOURS NOW, BUT ITS MORE FUN AND WE MEET SO MANY NICE PEOPLE.
