The Rare Coin Market continues to outpace all other forms of investments.
Since 1995 wider use of the internet opens up the coin market to the world. No longer are you stuck with buying and selling locally.
Over a 67-year period of time, 1938 to 2005, Rare Coins increased an average of 13.56% compared to 8.38% for the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Buying and selling coins prior to the internet, left most collectors stuck dealing with local coin shops or shows. NOT ANYMORE! When viewing the coin charts, note that the approximate time for the invention of the internet was 1995. That's always arguable, but the invention of Window's '95 was about the time frame when most people began buying personal computers and were coming online. The population of new computer users continues to grow daily and the search for better investment vehicles other then the volatile Stock Market is always in demand.

The Rare Coin Market continues to outpace other investment vehicles such as the S&P 500, Dow Jones, Farmland, Gold & Silver, (CPI) Consumer Price Index, and Corporate Bonds. Most Coin Dealers in today’s market started as a collector and when their investment/collection grew, they realize that this fun hobby has proven to be a way to save for retirement or start your own business. Wow, having fun and making money at the same time.
