The King George Animal Rescue League is going into our ninth year of dedicated service to the people and pets of King George, Virginia. We are a non-profit, 501c(3) organization providing food, shelter, medical care, and TLC to homeless and abused companion animals in our community and surrounding communities. We rely heavily on the enormous efforts of volunteers to raise operating funds necessary for our focus on spaying and neutering and to provide day-to-day support that is needed to promote humane values of protection, care, and compassion for companion animals. We also accept private donations and receive grant aid to further our efforts to reduce pet overpopulation. For more information about us, please visit our website.


Our Mission
  • Educate both adults and youth in the proper, humane care of pets
  • Promote adoption, spaying/neutering and complete vaccination programs
  • Provide food, shelter, and medical care to homeless pets/pets in need
  • Increase awareness of the plight of homeless and abused animals in King George county
