The Media Station
I am a multi-media artist that lives outside of Philadelphia in the town of Media. I had been threatening to clean out the workshop and studio for years. May of 2004 I finally did it. There are two purposes to my Ebay participation One is to sell items of course. Two, is to promote and market my craftwork.
The items I sell are "things" I have held on to for years, or "things" that I find interesting. In either case I notice what crosses my path, if I like it - I grab it.
As a digital photographer, I find the shapes and forms of many of these "things" fascinating. I try to capture that in my images. The beauty of Ebay allows me to share those images, and even keep a rememberance of the items I sell.
To me taking pictures of the "things" are as important as selling them. In some cases I will turn the auction image into it's own painting. They will be available on my website. If you are interested in a possible painting of an item you are bidding on, please contact me at my email address.
