I started selling on eBay about 5 years ago, when my first daughter was a baby. Now I have two wonderful, funny, energetic little girls, and because of eBay, I can stay home with them.

I prefer Paypal. In fact, most of my auctions are marked "Paypal Only," but I will accept money orders or cashier's checks in some cases. I DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS, and I ONLY accept Paypal payments from CONFIRMED ADDRESSES. If you send me a Paypal payment from an unconfirmed address, it will automatically be denied, and you will have 3 days to have your address confirmed with Paypal before the item is relisted and appropriate feedback is left. I have this policy because Paypal will not cover me through their Seller Protection Policy unless you pay with a confirmed address. This is something I have learned the hard way.
  Shipping

I usually ship twice a week: Mondays and Fridays. I will make exceptions for urgent cases, but I do suggest that bidders assume that items take AT LEAST a week to arrive (less time if you pay for Priority mail). Because I work from home and I have small children to care for, I don't make any guarantees as far as rush shipping is concerned, but I will do my best.

I will often automatically send a package via Priority mail instead of Parcel Post, for no additional charge, if you live on or near the east coast. There is usually only a nominal difference in shipping cost to do so.

All of my items are shipped with USPS Delivery Confirmation.

Insurance

Insurance is offered as an option on most of my items. If you choose insurance, you must select the option when making your payment. The USPS will NOT insure gift cards, so if you are purchasing a gift card from me, I suggest that you opt to buy purchase protection through Paypal. It is usually no more than the cost of USPS insurance, and it will guarantee that, if your package is lost in the mail, you can get your money back. I will not personally reimburse bidders for items that are lost in the mail, unless they were covered by insurance. Your Delivery Confirmation tracking number will assure you that your item was shipped.

Returns

I will accept returns for grossly misrepresnted items. Since I don't sell used merchandise, this has never been an issue, and I hope it never is. I do ask for my bidders to understand that with small children, a business, and a household to take care of, I don't spend all of my time checking emails. I will respond to all concerns, but it may be a few days before I get to you. If you don't hear from me about a concern in what seems like a reasonable timeframe, feel free to call me. It could be that your email was misdirected, or I'm out of town.
