I`m a 40 year old artist living on the gulf coast of Florida with my wife and our three mischevious little imps.

In the past few years I`ve sold hundreds of paintings and drawings on Ebay and am eternally grateful to those buyers and collectors without whom I wouldn`t be able to pursue this passion or meet the artistic goals I have in such a short time.

While I have always had a passion for the artistic in one form or another in the past year I have begun to seriously pursue newfound goals for my art.

It has taken center stage in my life and I plan on leaving it there.

Throughout my life the main focus of my images has been the human form in the classical style and while it still intrigues me I`m starting to put out work with a more primitive tone to it and find I really love it.

By breaking away from my classical leanings my work is evolving towards a more abstract style.
With the use of heavily layered textured acrylics and contrasting color schemes I try to create from these abstract concepts an illusion of reality with an almost sculptural quality.

After years of struggle to get each piece just perfect I`ve discovered..they don`t have to be.
In fact the harder you reach for perfection the more it eludes you.

Besides, it`s alot more fun this way.
