Our packaging policy:
We use reclaimed or recycled packaging whenever possible, for example the bulk of our cardboard packaging is re-used. This may make our parcels look a little more used than other sellers but we think it's important to recycle as much as possible. Rest assured however, that we make sure your items are fully protected and securely packed.
We make no apologies for our packaging looking a little 'used'. It is used, and re-used, and please re-use it again yourself!!! We are proud to try to do our bit to help. Our aims are to:

1. Help the environment by re-using packaging.
2. Reduce our packaging costs and pass the savings on to our customers through cheaper delivery costs.
3. Purchase packaging supplies that are made of recycled material where physically and economically possible.
4. Obtain re-usable packaging materials from local sources and reduce waste going to landfill.
5. Encourage customers to re-use the packaging received from us and others. Please re-use it. It will save you money and help the environment. 

Our Postage Policy
We aim to post our items out within three to five working days. However in many cases we post within 24 hours of receiveing your order. We DO NOT have a policy of making money from postage. Many ebay sellers do this. We don't. Our postage policy is as below:

1. If you purchase several different items from us please wait for your invoice before you make payment. We will offer you an additional postage discount. We will always try to reduce your postage and packing costs whenever we can.
For 99% of our items postage is only £1.00 for the first item, and just £0.25 for each extra item after that.
2. We post all items 2nd class or standard parcel rate (where stated) to keep the cost to you as low as possible.
3 . We charge you the cost of the packaging materials that we have used only, with no extra hidden charges.
4 . We use recycled packaging wherever we can (especially boxes), if we get this at zero cost you get your packaging at zero cost too!

A little more about us...
Kipper workshop crafts is our small family creative crafting enterprise. Craftshapes.co.uk is our wooden shapes arm of the business. We import beautiful craft shapes that are not economical to produce ourselves. The business is mostly myself, Steve. I craft full time and get help from my wife and friends when it is needed. I do all the work at our workshop and office here in the Staffordshire Moorlands. I love to make craft items and furniture, especially shaker style. I like the simplicity of shaker styling, it's very beautiful.

The workshop is behind our home (out the back door and up the windy hill!). I have a range of hand tools and machines that I have built up over the years. I craft in the workshop everyday and work hard to develop and make crafts designs that are unique and just a little bit different. My ultimate aim is to make items that are pieces of interest that will look great in your home or garden.

Pride of place in my workshop is a hand operated heat press that enables me to transfer designs into the very grain of wood. I use it extensively for our signs and plaques. My heat press allows me to create a unique finish on wood, and other, surfaces. The heating process literally fuses the design into the grain of the wood. It looks immediately part of the wood itself. It's a lovely result and works perfectly for the country style and folk art pieces that I like to make.

As an additional fun service I also use my heat press equipment to make professionally finished items such as jigsaws, keyrings, coasters, placemats and many other items. These are fully personalised products that are great fun and look so colourful and vibrant. They make great gifts.
