I started by looking up items I had inherited from my mother and grandparents. I researched sterling, Haviland china, jewelry and collectibles on eBay. I bought a camera, bubble wrap and packing peanuts all on eBay and I was in business.
Now I find my items at thrift stores and yard sales and utilize eBay for research on my treasures.
In my other life I have been doing insurance exams EKG'S and blood draws for people applying for life insurance for 25 years. California has instituted new requirements for phlebotomy and after the class and the test, the application process will take over a year to complete so......I'm retiring!
July 2006 - Well, the big day came....I'm no longer doing insurance exams...26 years. I can't seem to let go of the name EXAMQUEEN though!
(( WOW, another year...it's August 2007...time for an update...just celebrated the 40th Ventura High School Reunion...old folks can really PARTY.......worked on the planning committee for 5 years...now it's time to get back to selling!!))

I did an exam on an old acquaintance a few years ago and her two youngest children went to pre-school with my daughter so we caught up on the family. Her oldest son had met my daughter when she was 5. After I left, Shirley gave her son my daughter's email address and after 2 years they were married in October 2004 I already knew the family and had met Jon years before so this is a great match!
