KATIE PFEIFFER'S ART GALLERY

Hello everyone out there in eBAY land.! I'm an artist who loves thriftin' ( going to flea markets, yard sales etc.) to find treasures. I also take much of my artistic inspiration from some of my wonderful finds such as my large collection of unusual vintage children's books which I have rescued. Sometimes my work is colorful and happy and other times it's ugly and dark, weird or risque . As time go on, my work is getting more and more personal; mostly exploring interactions I have had which have been less than positive. I regard this as doing self therapy. My work is inspired by so many artists - Maya Deren, Matisse, Raoul Dufy, Odilion Redon, Dare Wright,Picasso, Klimt, Harvey Pekar,and list goes on and on. I explore EVERYTHING thru art. I paint, draw and collage. I also love & support other artists who make and sell DIY products on eBAY - especially purses & clothing. I'm a filmophile- Musicals from the 50s provide me with lots of artistic inspiration because I love color & fashion. I am also obsessed with cooking and helping animals & of course volunteering with any cause relating to helping TIBET.
