Rovings, Spinning Fibers, Raw Fibers and Handspun Yarns
Welcome to Frene Creek Farm. We are located 6 miles west of Janesville, Wisconsin. Most of our wool products are produced on our 40 acre farm.
Our flock includes Merino, Shetland, Romney, white and colored Border Leicester, Coopsworth, Sherino (Merino x Shetland), Rambouillet, Icelandic, Targhee, Polypay, Cotswold, Wensleydale and other breeds of sheep, white and colored Angora goats, Pygora goats, an Alpaca and Great Pyrenees dogs. The largest attraction to our farm is Connie and April--Dromedary camels. Along with producing fiber here on the farm, I purchase raw fiber from other Wisconsin flock owners.
I hand wash, dye and process here on the farm. I do my own rovings on a Patric Green Roving machine.
