Besides the United States, I have successful transactions in over 20 countries worldwide. Below is a list of all the countries that I have shipped to. If you don't see your country there, it's not because I don't ship there - it's because I haven't yet. I can't quote shipping prices by weight and fixed-rate on a listing. Depending on shipping destination and package size, one may be more economical than the other. In all cases, I will quote the best shipping price to save you money.
**
For all APO/FPO addresses: Free media mail shipping or priority mail with media
rate cost deducted. APO/FPO Media mail can take a long time to reach
international destinations; it goes by surface (truck, train, boat). APO/FPO
Priority mail goes on a plane so it can reach desinations in a matter of days.
The main reason sellers refuse to sell to APO/FPO is because the mail has to be
physically taken to the post office counter - it can't be picked up. Now as
inconvenient as that might be for some businesses, it still seems (to me) an
awfully simple thing to do to show appreciation for the people that protect our
country.
I
like to ship my books by Media Mail whenever possible. It's cheap and
usually gets to the customer in a reasonable amount of time. It can be
insured and tracked as well. Below is a table showing the current
rates the United States Postal Service charges for Media Mail:

**New
policy**In order to increase my
efficiency in shipping orders, I am switching over to new boxes and bubble
wrap.As a result, my shipping fees
will increase to $1.25 per order. In
cases where there are larger orders (greater than 20 books) or orders where I
can use USPS-supplied boxes, this fee will be decreased.
If a
bidder wins multiple items, the shipping fees will be combined. With media
mail, this saves lots of money.
Media
Mail can be insured. For most cases (under $50) insurance is $1.35 extra.
International
Shipping
The US post office has made changes in the services that are available. If non-US
bidder wins my auctions, I generally offer two modes of shipping: M-Bag (1-4
weeks to deliver) and Priority (4-10 days to deliver). In the case of the M-Bag, the shipment cannot be insured. M-Bag is now air mail only and it will save money only with puchases that weigh over 6 lbs. Priority mail now provides tracking information for all shipments. Priority mail envelopes are less expensive to ship by are uninsured. The priority mail packages now include some insurance coverage in the price of the postage. Additional insurance can be purchased up to a maximum of $650.
The post
office keeps changing rates. Please e-mail me for a shipping quote. I will work
with you to use the service that best suits your needs. ('Ask Seller A
Question' on the listing).
About
Feedback:
Now
there are basically two schools of thought on seller's feedback: One reason
that sellers leave feedback upon receipt of payment is that they believe that
the buyer has upheld his or her end of the transaction. One reason sellers wait
until a buyer has left feedback is they take the feedback as the signal that
the buyer is satisfied with the purchase and no further customer support is
needed. I subscribe to the first school.
As
a seller: I leave positive feedback for every paying buyer. I leave feedback
when I ship the buyer's new item to let them know it is on the way and to thank
them for paying in a timely manner (just as eBay recommends: eBay Selling Basics). I believe that there isn't
anything that can't be worked out with good communication. Leaving positive
feedback first shows more customer appreciation.
As
a buyer: I hold to the belief that if a seller wants my feedback then they will
leave me feedback. Since a seller needs nothing else from me after he has my
money then he should leave feedback first. When I receive my item and
everything is OK then I leave feedback. If something goes wrong, then I
communicate with the seller to get resolution. Once I no longer need customer
support then I can leave feedback to signify completion of the transaction. I
have participated in over two thousand transactions and have only left six
comments that were not positive (only one negative).
I
stand firm on my feedback policies. I hold to the old addage: "The
customer is always right."
