Canvas transfers are the hottest new
area of finished art products. Imagine being able to take a lithograph and
transfer the image onto canvas so that it resembles an original oil painting. At
Knightframe.com I can transfer most any Lithograph or poster onto canvas and
enhance the final product with custom brushstrokes to simulate the texture of
the original painting.
The process
A canvas transfer uses a chemical process to transfer the image from a paper
print onto a high quality artists' canvas.
Brushstroking
Brushstrokes are hand-applied in a layer of clear
acrylic to add texture to canvas transfers, and are particularly effective for
images of paintings in styles using heavy coats of paint, such as impressionism
or many modern abstracts.
