I work hard to maintain my excellent feedback score and Star Rating. Please realize the hardest hit were small packages when the USPS raised rates in 2007. This results in a much higher postage fee than you would expect.

For example: A 1 ounce package costs $1.17 in postage plus 18 cents for Delivery Confirmation. Total cost is $1.35!!

2 oz- $1.52   3 oz- $1.69   etc....

Even my lightest packages, Fabric Iron On Appliques are usually 2 ounces. That leaves just 52 cents to help cover my costs for Envelopes, Labels, Shipping Tape, Bubble Wrap, Packing Peanuts, Cardboard, Paper, Printing, Shipping Boxes etc....

Some buyers have given me less than 5 stars thinking a 1 ounce envelope ships for 41 cents. Meaning I had a high handling charge. As you can see from the rates above it is ALOT more than that.

In fact, with Multiple Applique purchases I lose money when they've purchased several sets because I offer Free shipping for all additional appliques.  But this is a promotion I have always had and will continue to do so!  :o)

SHIPPING TIME:

I work on my eBay business 7 days a week, minimum 8 hours and very often 10 - 12 hour days. I ALWAYS ship within 24 hours of payment. And I ship 6 days a week. My mail carrier picks up my packages every morning. All payments made by 11 pm will ship the next morning. Personally, when I'm the buyer I'd LOVE to have all Seller ship that fast. There's very few who do. Keep in mind, even though I ship within 24 hours, the US Postal Service may not keep to a timely shipping. Unfortunately that is out of my hands.

I don't believe in Automated services to do this for me. I personally email each and every buyer.

I ALWAYS email to let you know that I have received your payment and let you know when I will be shipping your item. All of my Shipping Labels are done through PayPal, so you receive a 2nd email letting you know the Delivery Confirmation number. ALWAYS check your MY EBAY messages as many email programs send 'unknown senders' to the Spam folder. Some buyers thought I never emailed them, giving me less than 5 stars for communication and this isn't the case. They simply didn't know it was in their junk/spam folder and unfortunately they never read messages at their MY EBAY.

I do my absolute best to describe all items I sell with great accuracy. I give detailed descriptions and I usually underate the item. It's almost always in BETTER condition than I described. That way you're not disappointed... it's just the opposite. You're thrilled it's even better than you thought it would be. As always, if you feel the product you've purchased, isn't what you thought, you may return it for a refund of the purchase price. Shipping is not refundable.

COMBINED SHIPPING CHARGES

For multiple purchases I ALWAYS combine your shipping charges to save you money!   Rule of thumb for shipping with my auctions:

Take the first highest shipping charge and then for any other purchases the shipping will be the "additional charge" (NOT the main shipping charge for one) for the other (more than one) items.  Your invoice will not automatically be corrected, so please email me for a combined invoice and I'll get it sent out asap.  

Examples of Combined Shipping using the following items: 

10 Checkbooks ship for $2.75 and each additional set the shipping is $2.00.  

5 Debit Wallets ship for $2.50 and each additional is 50 cents.

1)  You purchase 2 sets of 10 Checkbooks so the shipping would be $4.75.  ($2.75 + $2.00)

2)  You purchase 1 set of 10 checkbook covers and 2 sets of Debit Wallets.  So the shipping would be $3.75.   ($2.75 + .50 + .50)

3)  You purchase 2 sets of 10 checbook covers and 2 sets of debit wallets.  So the shipping would be $5.50.  ($2.75 + $2.00 + .50 + .50= $5.75) BUT you stop at $5.50!  Because these will all fit into a Priority Flat Rate Envlelope.

ANY question regarding shipping, if something will fit into an Flat Rate Envelope or Box, just email.  I'll answer you just as quick as I can!   :o)

With everything that I sell, when the shipping has reached $5.50 it will STAY at that price as long as what you've purchased fits into a Flat Rate Priority Envelope.  (depending upon the items this makes a big saving in shipping)  Likewise, when the shipping has reach $10.00, it will STAY at that price as long as what you've purchased fits into a Flat Rate Priority Box.  (makes the shipping savings HUGE!)

FABRIC: I can fit approx 6 - 7 yards of cotton fabric in a Flat Rate Priority Envelope.  I can fit at least 15 and possibly 20 yards of cotton fabric in a Flat Rate Box! 

APPLIQUES:  For the Fabric Iron On Appliques, shipping is $1.50 for the first set.   ALL OTHER SETS ship FREE with the first set and/or ANY OTHER PURCHASE!    

Example 1: Purchase 3 sets of Appliques and the shipping is only $1.50 for all 3. 

Example 2: Purchase 5 checkbook covers and 3 set of Appliques and the shipping is $2.75.   ($2.75 is the shipping for the checkbook covers and the appliques ship free!)

On a more personal note:

Giving..... it is in giving that one receives.  I have always given from the heart.  Many times in ways that no one knows.  I won't give to enable one to be irresponsible, dependent or unmotivated.  But I believe in giving to Empower... to help them become Responsible, Independent and Motivated to Succeed. 

I've known security with no worries on how the bills would be paid, there's a roof over my head and food in my fridge etc... But.... I spent most of my adult years just getting by and struggling to survive. Fifteen years as a divorced mother of two girls it was a heavy burden to carry alone.  What doesn't kill us, only makes us stronger.  And I am a Survivor.  So why do I give when I could use it myself?  Because I believe it is the right thing to do.  As long as my needs (neccessities) are met, I don't worry about my wants.  For there's so many who go without food, shelter, clothing etc... to ever think that my wants and wishes are important.  For they are not.

One of my favorite quotes is: They're not asking for a handout... just a hand.  
That "hand" has been there for me.  And I am more than willing to extend mine in any way I can.
