Welcome to my home page!
Hello, my name is Karen and  I love Barbie's. I played with my Barbie's until I was 12 years
old trying to make clothes for them on my mother's sewing machine without any patterns.
I had no idea then that I would be designing clothes for Barbie many years later. I found out
recently that the first Barbie was manufactured in 1959 - it's funny ... it's the same year I was born.

About my designs
I love to sew . . .  . . .and garden and take care of my pooch.

A while back I started sewing Barbie clothes from patterns for my step daughter.  She is now past
playing with Barbie's but I'm sure not. I learned how to cut my own patterns and designs
and continue my love of sewing part time while being a stay at home mom. (there's never a dull moment)

Fashion Royalty
In September 2004 I purchased my first Fashion Royalty doll "Veronique Perrin".  

What can I say . . . except that I have a new doll so exquisite and photo-genic, that I might even
become a doll collector with this line if my budget will allow it and I can't keep them in the box
so I don't about collecting for any value.

My focus of late is creating fashions for this doll, usually the outfits also fit Silkstone, Barbie,
Candi and most 11 - 12" dolls.  I love working with faux fur and stretch fabrics. 

The men:  The FR Homme dolls are fabulous.  I've started creating designs for these guys
under "Hot Homme" my men's wear line.


16" Dolls
I recently started sewing for the 16" dolls.  My favorite is Ellowyne Wilde, I own a few of them now.
I also have a Gene, Tyler and a Matt as models.



I have added Avantguard dolls to by collection


Lavish Linens
I also make doll bed linen for the 11-12" Dolls.  The linen fits the Fashion Royalty Modern
Dreamer Decor Bed and the wood beds made by my father.
