About Me

As a young girl, I learned to sew at my mother knee and this was the beginning of a life-long love of sewing and crafts. I made pot holders as a child, sewed clothing for my little daughter as a young mother, and took up quilting and other crafts as time went by. I particularly enjoyed patch work quilting. I began doing craft shows as Kathy Patch Works in 1985, offering painted pecan-resin pieces, quilts, pillows, stuffed animals and dolls. I started KPW Distributors in 1992 primarily to offer pecan-resin pieces and related items; however, I am now focusing more on sewing and other crafts.
