In December 2004 I took my two toddlers to a local photography studio for their annual Christmas portraits.  While waiting for the pictures to be printed I browsed through the studio store and noticed a shelf of picture frames for sale.  Now the frames were cute but my creative side told me I could do better.  Hence A&J Keepsakes was born.  Which I named after my two toddlers!

As the kids have grown and family events have taken place I've come up with new designs.  Then I've shared those same designs my customer's.  I figured if I have a nice photo of my kids playing on the beach so will someone else and they will be looking for a frame too!

What does the future hold for A&J Keepsakes?

Well, as my daughter gets older she is becoming a big help in running our ebay store.  I hope to turn this into a mother-daughter business that she can take over for herself.    I plan to continue with the custom hand painted frames but offer them on a more limited scale since time has become scarce for me.  You will see more frames being auctioned off at great prices to clear out older styles.  As always in the past, if you can't find what you are looking for just drop me an email and I'll match the occasion!
