Once both my hubby and I were both retired we decided to clean out the basement and get some of the old furniture ready for Good Will.  Ken cleaned up the old dresser and when it was ready to be transported to Good Will for donation asked if I wanted any of the items he had found in the drawers.  Most of the items were not sellable but there was this one pretty little porcelain red cardinal.  I had never sold on eBay before and decided I would take the time to try it out.  Well, that little bird went for $51!  I was hooked!  I started going through the house, saying, don't need that, don't need that, and don't need that!  I sold everything in sight that wasn't nailed down!  Wow!  Was this great!  As I bragged about the "fortune" I was making to friends and neighbors they slowly, one by one started asking me to list items for them.  Before I knew it, we were selling for more and more people.  Friends of friends began to call and now I have more than enough items to list to keep me off the street for days!  Since we are retired, we do travel, love to play cards, and also spend time with our wonderful grandchildren, family and friends.  Sometimes we will have 8o items for sale and other times just a few.  Soooo, please check us out, you never know what we will have up for sale next! 

We live in the heart of Berks County, in "the Pagoda City" (thus, item location in our listings).  The vintage pagoda has sat on top of Mount Penn for many, many years and is a city trademark.  Up here on "Walton's mountain" as our sons like to refer to where we live, we are avid gardeners with a wonderful veggie garden that we enjoy every summer.  We also love to simply enjoy our yard and our screened-in gazebo. You can follow one of our paths down to a honeysuckle-covered glider or  wander over to our flower-surrounded bench under the old tree or even just enjoy the tranquility in our pine tree sitting area.
