Some thoughts on Buying, Selling and Shipping

Selling on eBay is easy and enjoyable. For me Selling serves to thin down personal possessions, to provide an agreeable level of compensation for these items and to make Buyers on eBay happy to find what they love and enjoy. The items I sell are also things that I enjoy and buy for myself, so there is a clear mutual appreciation and care for the items you are bidding on. Buying is great fun. You just can't find such precise and nearly instant satisfaction elsewhere. This convenience bears the burden of dealing with shipping costs and materials, basic overhead costs. Postal rates keep skyrocketing since eBay and the direct merchandising realm of the net blew up. Higher fuel costs have had their nasty evil effects too. I do all I can to make this aspect transparent, streamlined, affordable and painless. I ship via United States Postal Service, www.USPS.com. Shipping options:

Domestic: Priority Mail, First Class and Media Mail. International: Air Letter Post for all shipments. Extra large or heavy items will ship via FedEx Ground or UPS, includeing UPS Home Delivery for Residential destinations Shipping costs can be estimated online with the USPS Rate Calculator @ USPS.com I will apply postal upgrades or cover costs associated to shipping if I have underestimated shipping costs. However, many of my auctions offer FREE shipping to domestic US addresses unless otherwise noted. I understand my Buyers' anticipation to get purchase(s) as soon as possible. Fast delivery is a huge part of my devotion to customer service. I strive to ship all items within 48 hours of receiving a confirmed payment email from Paypal. Current eBay policy clearly states that we may only send and accept payments with PayPal. PayPal is the quickest and safest form of payment for both parties. PayPal helps limit your wait time for delivery and my wait time for payments. The USPS is a huge obstacle in getting an item from me to you so I pack items very securely and enter parcels into the post as soon as humanly possible given postal schedules. Unfortunately, the Post Office only offers estimates on shipping times, not guarantees (lest you pay significantly more for Express or Registered services. I do not typically agree to ship by expedited services as their cost is generally not warranted per my auctions.) Thanks very much for your interest in my auction(s). Best, krispyfur
