EBay has given me an outlet for my shopping (and selling) bug.  I've been a scavenger for all my life, trolling tag sales and thrift stores for cool, unique items.  Once I had children, the benefits of bargain hunting became a necessity.  Children's toys and clothes are pricey when bought new and often aren't worn out when they're outgrown.

You'll find my descriptions to be detailed and factual.  I  know that your time is valuable, so I don't waste it by having you read a book about how cute something looked on my daughter.  I try to provide photos of important details, patterns and  textures that may help you make a purchase decision.  The little details count for me, and I'm sure you appreciate them as well.

I always offer two shipping options; USPS Priority Mail and either 1st Class or Parcel Post, depending on the weight of the auction.  I charge only actual shipping costs.  I do not pad my charges in order to make more money.  What you see quoted, if you use the Postage Calculator, should be what you are charged.  I've even refunded shipping costs when a package ends up costing less than originally estimated.  I have a good friend that is the mail carrier.  I don't appreciate the way that many eBay sellers make money on his hard working back.

I offer shipping within 48 hours, when possible.  I pride myself on my communication.  I don't enjoy being left in the dark about when my item shipped or if something came up that caused a delay.  I will respect your time and intelligence by informing you of the shipping date as well as any unexpected circumstances.

I am tickled to offer the items that my family has outgrown.  I'm sure there is a new life in a new home waiting for our games, clothes and toys!

A bit about me... I grew up in the housing projects on the North End of Superior, Wisconsin.  As early as age 11, I began babysitting for a bit of spending money, as my family didn't have "extra" for the fun things a kid usually enjoys.  I was lucky to break my ties with my neighborhood and relocate to Minneapolis to attend the U of M.  I met my favorite person ever, who became my husband, and we began a family in 1996. 

Becoming pregnant changed my priorities a bit, so I left school and began working full time in order to help support our new, growing family.  Two more babies followed in 2000 and 2002.  Now I'm at home throughout the day, making sure that laundry is clean, homework is completed, and that my sanity hasn't left me completely!  I've gone back to college to finish my Bachelor's degree, as well.   That was an enormous decision for us, with both time and financial considerations.  I'm really glad that I've gotten the ball rolling, though, as it models an appreciation for learning for my children as well as gives me personal satisfaction.
