Greetings to all my valued customers and friends, past, present and future!  It's probably about time, after 4 years in business, to tell you a little about myself and my store, so here you go!

Kerbey Lane Miniatures started as "Kerbey Lane Dollhouses and Miniatures", a physical store owned by my mother here in Austin, Texas, from 1987-2004.  When mom retired the shop in 2004, we decided that I would try my hand at selling her remaining inventory here on eBay, and low and behold, the response to her unusual, mostly handcrafted and collector-quality miniatures was overwhelming.  Kerbey Lane Dollhouses and Miniatures was here to stay, minus "dollhouses" (too big) and furniture (too fragile) to ship.

My user ID, lacyhome4boys, is a nod to my dear departed daddy, whom I loved very much.  I have 4 boys (one is actually a husband).  Since I worked at home and was available for supervision, transportation and nutrition, our house tended to be the "hang out" house, and there were young boys (and later, young men) here most of the time.  When my dad would visit, he loved to answer the phone (knowing it was probably some boy's mother), and greet the caller with a cheerful "Lacy Home for Boys!". 

My personal collection of dollhouses and miniatures is extensive.  I have a passion (and as it turns out, a surprisingly good eye) for finding high quality miniature accessories at reasonable (or at least fair) prices.  I stock my store for collectors like myself, who are looking for accurate scale, excellent detail and high quality in their dollhouse accessories.  My inventory comes from artists and talented craftspeople from all over the world, and includes quality manufactured items as well.  I personally have no talent or creativity whatsoever, though, and couldn't make a miniature to save my family's life.
