I have worked in glass since 1974, painting, fusing and blowing, until 1988 when I discovered the technique of winding molten glass on a rod to form a bead. It then took me until 1995 to develop the method I use to form the sculptural beads that showcase reef fish species from around the world.
Painted Triggerfish
The fish sculptures are my interpretation of the many fish found on reefs around the world. Each fish is different. While my fish are beads, they are designed to be displayed and come with their own stand. My beads can be seen in galleries, and photographs of my work can be found in many books and magazines that show the art of glass beadmaking.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and look at my work.
