Hi and thanks for looking!
So I used to be a major My Little Pony collector but I've cooled quite a bit with that, my 1000+ collection may at some point be for sale, but I do take offers if they're rediculously high and I can't refuse!
My current interests are my flower gardens; I love perennials. I'm building another bed currently as well as maintaining the others that are established. I have a large full sun bed in the backyard, a shade garden against the house in the front (north side) a small bed on the corner of the driveway and one further down on the driveway, and lets not forget the raised beds along the side of the house! The bed that I am building is in the front yard and showpieces a snowball bush and a white lilac tree if it survives.
I am also an aquarist and I have been for 13 years now. I have three tanks currently running; a 72 gallon bowfront tank that is freshwater, a 20 gallon freshwater tank and a 38 gallon saltwater tank with a pair of seahorses and a few fish and corals. Keeping fish is work but it's enjoyable. Just remember, and I see this all the time... you can't just go buy a tank, fill it with water and throw in some fish, you'll kill the fish, plain and simple. The water has to cycle! I encourage everyone to keep fish, but please do your research and do it the right way, it will be much more rewarding!
I can't forget to yap on and on about all of our outdoor critters! We love to watch the birds and butterflies, and of course the bears that have destroyed our feeders! Everything is inside now for at least a month until the bears lose interest and move on. We feel bad not feeding the birds, but there is a lot of food in the woods, and hopefully we'll be able to feed them again soon.
