The Romantic Country Gardener...
The side gardens...

As you walk through the very old garden gate with its ivy covered sides, you will see something very special.  As you look left, there is a lovely herb garden, neatly done in a raised bed with wonderful herbs and special treats for the eye.  As you look right you will see a long expanse of Bungalow open trellis fencing which beckons you towards it...and if you come closer...you will discover the person just inside the gate.  She is one who is likely a renaissance woman who has had the pleasure of having both a corporate career and then a wonderful career in English Country Garden design and now a small one on EBAY.  She has a great love of gardens and shrubs and studies all the latest cultivars so that she can recommend them to her clients.  She is an accomplished shrub and tree pruner and can visualize an entire garden in her mind as she has a photographic memory of sorts.  Her own personal gardens are a source of solace and tranquility and she uses them as a venue for Historic Preservation events to raise monies for the community she so loves and enjoys.  She also, from time to time, restores historic houses as she is a committed preservationist and loves the challenge of taking a sow's ear and turning it into a silk purse.  She has become very handy over the years and has her own extensive tool collection and can actually use it!  She is a lover of fine linens and loves collecting them just to see their handiwork.  She is a dedicated mother to one son and her gardens and is grateful for every day that she can see, walk and talk.  We are each given a gift in life...mine is to be able to share my gardens with the world, and EBAY has allowed me to do this.  Thank you all for coming into the gardens to visit.
